Question

How to match stroke color?

I keep needing to match the stroke color to something I already have, but I cannot figure out how to do it. There are instructions on this forum how to do it, but they are over 10 years old and do not seem to work on my version. I thought this would be a simple operation with the eye dropper tool but it is not.

Can anyone walk me through how to accompliosh this? Thanks

You have to choose stroke icon and then can use Eyedrooper to set a color.

If you pick up a color with the eyedropper and create a new swatch in the Swatches panel, you can select and use that swatch for the stroke color on any vector object you can select

OK thanks, I guess now I need to figure out a plan for keeping my swatches organized. I've been holding back making swatches for lack of a managament solution. Thanks.
