How to open Illustrator document windows every time default with Fit Artboard

Is there a setting in preferences(or somewhere) that you can get your files to open "Fit Artboard in Window" every time? I apologize if this is not worded correctly.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I am afraid there is no default setting in preferences to open "Fit Artboard" every time you launch Illustrator. However, there is a workaround you can do ctrl+0/ cmd+0 (zero) to fit the artboard quickly every time you launch Illustrator.

Thank you for the answer. That works, but adding it as default option would be a great time saver! Perhaps in a future release?

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
