How to open multi-page pdf in Illustrator on specified artboards

Hello,

I have to place multi-page pdf's on a daily basis at work. The File, Open command let's me choose a pdf file and select which pages to open in Illustrator.

It even has the option of opening them as links. This is great! However, it would be even greater if the files could open in the artboards specified in my already created file (see artboard image below, right) instead of a new file in a random order. Or, perhaps even have settings available in the PDF Import Options dialog to input these settings for artboard quantity and size and order. Thank you very much for your time!
