How to paint over intersection?

Hi. I just started using illustrator and got a question.

I've got a simple object, f.e. triangle, and a circle. Both are black and planted near each other, such that there is an intersection. How can I paint over intersected part of triangle to another color?

Select both and choose Object > Live Paint > Make.

Press K to get the Live Paint Bucket to fill the shapes.
