How to place illustator pics in a word doc.

Trying to save illustrator pic as a jpeg and export to a word document.  Not having any success.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out.  Would you mind sharing the exact workflow? Do you get any error while exporting the JPEGs from Illustrator?  Also, please share version of Illustrator & OS. You may also share screenshots or a small video of the process.
