How to print file with Intertwined objects? Problem with the Intertwine tool.

I want to print an artwork where I used the Intertwine tool. When I export it as a PDF intertwined objects look extremely pixelated.

I used Expand on the Intertwined objects, but still, on a PDF I can see lines from the circle that I made to create an Intertwine. I hope that makes sense. Can anyone tell me how to print Intertwined objects? Thank you.

Hi @Ksenia5EEE,

Thanks for reaching out. As Mylenium said, it's a known issue. The product team is aware of it and currently working to improve intertwined object functionality. Would you mind upvoting this UserVoice (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/45826375-intertwine-bug-when-export-as-pdf-x4). This way, you'll get updates & it will help prioritize it.

Thanks,

This is a known bug where the rasterized data is generated with insufficient resolution. For the time being you have to doctor it up the hard way and expand it, then fix any overprint issues and all that.
