How to recover a crashed ai file after another crash?

Please this is very urgent.

power went out. when rebooted, Ai prompted recovery which I pressed ok.

but it crashed again immediately on the scene (before it recovers)

now the file does not recommend recovery.

This is lots of work gone I really need help.

For the future:

Make backups of your files. Lots of backups. Save different versions, so that this kind of stuff does not throw you off. It will always happen, because these things happen with computers. You have to be prepared.

I usually do save a lot, but I was zoned-in in the work.

Wish there was auto-save instead of recovery.

For Auto-Save, you can use the free plugin Autosaviour.

But Auto-Save will not help you. You need Multiple versions of the file, so you have a fallback in case something goes wrong. If you cannot remember saving, then set up a reminder on your computer or your phone or whatever. Turn on Time Machine (or something similar for Windows), because it will indeed give you versions.
