Thank you for looking at this question and any response you have.
I hope this a “Duh” question but I would like t know how to include my menus in a relocation of Illustrator. Attached is a very short .mp4 file showing the relocation of Illustrator with menus left behind. I could not find anything in Preferences.
Thanks again!

Hello @EyeballDoc,

Thanks for reaching out. As suggested by Kevin, floating panels will not move with the application window and will need to be redocked to move with it. You may learn more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/workspace-basics.html.

Alternatively, you may switch to one of the default workspaces and use them.

Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,

Anubhav

I see your menus at the top are moving with teh screen - do you mean the tool bar/panels?

Those have been detached from the application window and wont move with it.

Try resetting your workspace under Window/Workspace or choosing Essentials workspace.

That will relink them to the application window.

You are absolutely correct - I do mean tool bar /  panels.  I have a custom workspace which I have tried to reset.

Wow - thank you for your kind advice!

I will just have to deal with it.

You can always drag those panels back into the workspace area to lock them in place.

However, if you prefer to keep them floating, move them to the new location and save a new workspace.
