how to resize a picture from its anchor point on illustrator

any good soul could help me..

i need to resize a picture, but not from its center (holding alt) and not from its corner, BUT from somewhere in the picture.

i would need to do this in illustrator,

is there any way ?

This might help:

using the selection tool (black arrow, V on keyboard)
activate the scale tool
click the location of the center you want to use
grab a corner of the image, stay pressed and drag to rescale. Use Shift to keep proportions
