How to stop the alignment mode from automatically changing to "Key Anchor Point"
So to make sure my designs run exactly to the edge of my artboard I often align anchor points to the artboard, even if it's just to double-check. When the design is complex and selecting anchors via clicking and dragging won't do, I need to click on each individual anchor point. Doing so changes the alignment mode from "Align to Artboard" to "Align to Key Anchor Point." I've been performing this same action for years now, and this has never happened. I can still use the drop down menu to change it back but I don't want it to automatically switch at all. I can't see anything in preferences about it and there are no additional options regarding it in the alignment panel. Is there a way to turn off this annoying (to me) feature?
I'm ok with the secondary click to temporarily change to "Align to Key Object," but that's because I'm intending to do it and I've found it very useful. On the other hand, I've only had to "Align to [a] Key Anchor Point" once or twice in the past few years so making a common action default to that setting is a bit asinine to me.
