How to Transfer a color between open documents in ONE click?

is it even possible? or i need to meet my patient expiration date to make a simple color pick???

Or just pull the hex code for that color and then copy/paste it into the desired object in the other document/file.

Unless you want global settings to set up several colors across multiple files, you can do that as well.

Select an object that's filled with the color in question. (That uses up the one click that for some reason you decided is the limit.)

Hold down the Ctrl (or Cmd) key and type C Tab V
