How to wrap a design onto a coffee cup wrap

Hi Community,

First time posting so excuse me if I don't explain myself the best.

I need to attach a design to a cup wrap and make sure it doesn't distort or misalign. I have attached images for reference.

You'll notice on the 2nd pic the left side doesn't align nor do the black lines on the right portion.

I have a basic understanding of Adobe but this is done by an outsourced designer and he's not been able to fix it...

The designer has used a custom envelope?

This might work better by applying a standard warp and adjust it to the grid.
