How to wrap rounded corner rectangle around a circle

I'm trying to wrap rounded corner rectangles around in a circle like the image below. Any ideas on how to get that done? Thanks!!

I would use dashed strokes

For the large ones in the center:

Make a fat stroke, expand the stroke, subtract a rectangle from it and then select just some corners and round them with the widgets.
