Huion Kamvas 20 won't work with CC 2025

Hi,

This issue really needs addressed, as apparently a similar issue has been happening to people since at least 2023. So apparently, my Huion Kamvas 20 works PERFECTLY FINE with Affinity Design (but I hate that program). It also works fine with an earlier version of Illustrator. WHY IS THAT? Oh yes, Disable Wacom--genious! Then how do I use the tablet??? If I try to use the pen display to move the canvas around with the scroll bar, it glitches out and won't stop scrolling endlessly. Works fine if I use the mouse, but that severely handicaps workflow. If my tablet works fine with other programs and even other versions of Illustrator, that tells me there's an issue with ADOBE's idea of new software. All my drivers are updated for my graphics, display, my Huion--and I updated to the most current version of Illustrator. Can't use "SAFE MODE" to troubleshoot anything because, guess what's not essential, and thus doesn't work in safe mode? That's right. My Huion tablet.

I got rid of the CC a few months ago because Premier was also glitching out. I don't recall if there were issues with Photoshop. I tried another program to replace Ai, and I hated it. So PLEASE, for the love of all that is ARTISTRY, Adobe, FIX YOUR PROGRAMS! I guess I'll continue to use an old version of Illustrator as long as I don't run into complications. I'll update what else I find. I understand Adobe probably only cares about making money at this point, but if I was in a better headspace to learn a new program, I would. Right now, I just want to draw... So I'm over a barrel here.

Are you using a computer that is running the Windows OS? Does the tablet's driver require that Windows Ink be enabled for functions like pressure sensitivity to work? I have a Wacom Intuos tablet on my home setup and have to keep Windows Ink disabled in the tablet driver. That robs the tablet of any pressure sensitive capabilities. But if I enable Windows Ink certain other things happen that quickly make me absolutely furious. Simple actions like just being able to press and drag a CMYK color slider or move a program window become a hassle. Windows Ink hijacks basic press and drag functions. To make matters worse Windows Ink tries real hard to pop a handwriting text window in the way of any text objects when the Wacom pen is used to click a text cursor into anything. Hello, Microsoft? My computer is not an Apple Newton or even a Samsung Note phone. My computer has a friggin' physical keyboard attached to it (with CherryMX switches no less). I can type text extremely far faster than I can write it by hand in some dopey pop up window.

Microsoft's Windows Ink is some of the most stupidly developed software ever. Companies like Wacom and others who make graphics tablets desperately need to develop drivers that fully bypass Windows Ink. I really wish Adobe could take similar steps. Windows Ink just absolutely sucks.
