Hello Joanna,

there could be one small ray of hope, if you saved a former version of your work an didn't too much save other things on your harddisk. I for my part use in this cases FreeUndelete - OfficeRecovery.com . You should give it a try.

No, when a file is not saved and closed there is no file to recover.
