I am having issues with my transform tool. When the constrain width and height is turned off it still does edit the items evenly and i am unable to type in anything to make it uneven. Please help?

    Hello everyone,

Our team has tried to fix this in Illustrator (beta) 30.8.0.7, and it should be available in the next general release. Please try installing the latest Illustrator (beta) and let us know how it goes.

Meanwhile, please use the dedicated Transform panel or the Properties panel as a workaround.

@juan andrs as a workaround, use the Properties Panel for the transform functionalities.

You can mention it here, more votes, higher priority.

Same temporary solution, install an older version untill it is fixed.

I'm mainly seeing the problem involving rectangles; they'll only scale proportionately when number values are entered in the transform panel. However I can get the rectangles to respond properly to numerical input in the Shape panel. Other shapes seem to work properly in the Transform panel.

@Christina34864917s27k You can have multiple versions of Illustrator installed. You can install a previous version that does not have the problem.
