I am trying to stop Creative Cloud from downloading Acrobat updates. I'm asking here because I can't for the life of me find a useful answer in the Acrobat fora, and I always get useful answers and recommendations in the Illustrator forum.

I’m trying to stop Creative Cloud from downloading Adobe Acrobat updates without permission. Asking here because I’ve tried a dozen times but can't for the life of me get an answer in the Acrobat fora. I’ve come here because I always seem to get knowledgable answers and recommendations here.

Does anyone know how to stop an updated version from being downloaded (in the way Illustrator and Photoshop manage to extend this courtesy to users)?

Thanks as always, Ton. I had the Updater UNCHECKED in the last version. Acrobat ignored my wishes (ungraciously and without notification). After reading your post above, I set the current Updater preference just as I’d set the last one (having forgotten to set it unchecked when this most recent version downloaded yesterday). I’ll see what happens next.

I do not think that anyone is able to make Acrobat behave :-)
