I can no longer draw shapes, only paths

I have been making some shapes for masks, now, for some reason I can only create paths. I can no longer grab and resize my shapes, there are no handles on selection. Any rectangle or ellipse I make is now a path.

It's driving me nuts.

Self-solved... for any future people that are pulling their hair out, I must have accidentally hit shift+ctrl+b 'hide bounding box' which defaults to the path selection and removes all your resize tools.

View -> Show bounding box was the solution

It also removes the bounding box for masks for some reason and grabbing an image inside the mask made it move within the mask itself.

Do not recommend.

Johannes,

Edit: Ton had answered, as had you.

Shift+Ctrl+B is most likely the second most frequent keyboard mishit, following Ctrl+H.

And not to forget Ctrl+Y  for Preview/Outline.

Maybe View > Show Bounding Box helps?

Thank you, you got it correct simultaneously as I solved it - that was a good 30 minutes driving me nuts, thank you!
