I can't change the colors

I downloaded this AI file from Adobe Stock, everything is perfect, but I can't figure out how to change the background pink to another color.

Select it with the selection tool.

Open Window > Appearance

There are several fills, click on the one you want to change.

@Monika Gause has pointed to the correct and best approach considering it's a simple graphic, but you could also do a simple swatch replacement if you want to completely rid yourself of that specfic Pink.. i.e. Add your new colour to the Swatches, then select both swatches (select the new one first, THEN Cmd/Ctrl-click to add the old one), then pull down Merge Swatches. This will replace every occurance of that pink in the document.
