Question

I can't install Illustrator or Indesign

I haven't been able to use Adobe Illustrator all day. I ended up using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and cleaned out everything, yet I haven't seen any results. InDesign is also giving me the same issue. I have tried everything. Unfortunately this has come after using an application to move all my programs from C Drive to D Drive. I have tried providing full access for Trusted Installers to see if it was a security issue. All my other apps have been installing to the folder with no issue. The only thing that I can think of is that there is a corruption somewhere that is preventing these apps specifically from installing. But I'm not sure. Anyone have an idea of what the issue might be?

Sheesh... You probably will have to manually nuke the entire Windows Installer database and then repair it. Those are obscure command window procedures using SFC and DISM and their associated sub-tools, so you may need to investigate this pretty deeply. As the bare minimum boot your Windows into safe mode (with network support) and see if it repairs a bunch of stuff at least when consolidating/ rebuilding the Registry.

My guess is Creative Cloud doesn't work properly unless it is installed in the same "C" drive as the operating system. It could be an issue with security or anti-piracy measures. Or it could be the software just doesn't work unless it is installed on the same boot hard disc as the operating system.
