Hi,

I have just noticed I can't place PSD and TIF files on Illustrator CS4. I can do it on my office, but I can't at home. Both CS4 version, mac.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

That's a known issue with CS4 on Yosemite.

There's a hack available somewhere deep down in this forum.

This is not official and nobody takes any warranty for it:

    Release Yosemite AICS4 Fix · ralvarezt/aics4_yosemite_fix · GitHub

It may or may not work and it may or may not do harm to your computer.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing solved. But I tried with these files and worked.

    Hi,

My mac is 10.11.6 at home (where I have the issue), and files are psd or tiff. No matter rgb or cmyk file are. 8 bits depth.

And I think at office is 10.11 too, and works perfectly. Problem with CS4 at home is I can't select the file to place it.

What color mode do they have?

What color depth do they have?
