I cannot locate the top bar in adobe illustrator. The home icon is all that is being available. I need to have the others show.

I am unable to locate the top control bar in Illustrator 2026. The home icon is all that is being able to be seen.

    Do you have the various menu listings next to the home icon (File, Edit, Object, Type, etc) or is everything blank? If you’re missing the menu listings then it might be necessary to reset the Illustrator Preferences file.

    Just a clarification...The Home icon next to the menus is on Windows. On Mac, they are above the Home icon.

    Go to the Window menu. Does Control have a check mark next to it? If not, select the Control menu. 

    The Home button is above the Control panel and has nothing to do with the Control panel. 

    You should consider creating a workspace after you get your panels set the way you like them.
