I have downloaded an icon set as EPS/SVG in Adobe Stock (#2083553118) to open in Illustrator, but when I open it, it's an image, not an editable vector file.

Hello,

I am working in Illustrator and downloaded an icon set (#2083553118) from Adobe Stock. When prompted to download it as a JPG or EPS/SVG vector file for Illustrator, I chose the vector file.

However, when I open the file in Illustrator, the icon set is an image, not an editable vector file.

I don’t want to trace the image, as the results are often not as good as the original.

Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it?

I have now licensed that image and downloaded the AI/EPS version and it’s indeed a raster image. I’m going to report this file.

All you need to do is post to the forum “Stock” that I have linked. Post it as a bug and of course link the file.

I think you can now just post a reply into that thread. And please check out Nancy’d reply. She has tagged Contributor1, which you should do as well in a complaint. This is only my second complaint :-)
