I have Illustrator CC version 21.1.0. Why hasnt my software updated to the newer version?

I am a beginner user. I have an Adobe CC membership.  My Illustrator version is 21.1.0 and the training video I am using is for the 2018 updates.  However, when I go to my Adobe Creative Cloud and check for updates, it says my software is up to date. What am I missing or what am I doing wrong?

Thank you for replying.  I am using Windows 10.  I contacted Adobe support and they fixed it for me.  Turns out there was an error in my installation.  Thank you for replying.

What operating system are you using? CC 2018 will not show up if you have a Macintosh operating system earlier than El Capitan (OS X 10.11).

If that is not the case then try signing out of creative cloud and then signing back in.
