Hi!

I’d like to add text to an vector object of a shipping container. Is there some way using 3D please?

Yes, that can be done with 3D effects. You need to use the classic 3D effect and you need to make sure that all the anchor points for the wavy front are smooth points. Like this:

Hi Monika. I’ve created the shape required but I’m having a problem at the Map Art bit. I’m seeing 1-70 for the Surface option. It’s as if the shape is not one single object. It may be something to do with the shape I’ve created. In the example there are white boxes at each corner..

My shape doesn’t have these white boxes. I guess my question is what are these white boxes and why don’t I have them on my shape? I created my shape with the pen tool and it shows as a Path on the Layers tab.
