Hello, I put 100% black in adobe illustrator and it prints me a gray black. It does not print a pure black to me. Do you know what could be happening? Thank you

100% K is grayish, and that's normal. 'Rich' blacks in offset printing are produced from certain combinations of K and other inks.

What exactly is your process? What device are you printing from?

Hello @Aniceto José245165074ulc,

Thanks for reaching out. As pointed out by Doug, 100% K is grayish, and that's normal. It could be an issue with the printer settings. Also, try checking Illustrator's preferences for Appearance of Black:

Kindly update this thread if you need further assistance.

Thanks,
