I really need a keyboard shortcut for brush fidelity in paintbrush tool options

I use illustrator for all of my whiteboard style cartoon drawings. http://russlaw.co.uk

Illustrator has always worked well for me, as it allows multiple artboards and SVG export, and I can easily put my drawings into ToonBoon animation software which allows me to manipulate all of the lovely vectors for my animations.

BUT

I would love a keyboard shortcut for the brush fidelity. Can anyone tell me if one exists?

When I am drawing buildings and boxes I increase the smoothness setting, and then add more accuracy for more organic things. Sometimes I need to switch quickly between these. I did find the ENTER key which opens the paintbrush tool options panel and speeds things up a bit. 

Wondered if anyone else would find this useful?

    You can try to record an action and then add a keyboard shortcut for that action.

    You can add your own kbsc: Customizing keyboard shortcuts in Illustrator

    Example: Create a custom keyboard shortcut for Crop Image

    1. Choose Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.
    2. Choose Menu Commands.
    3. Click Object > Crop Image.
    4. Type a new shortcut. If the keyboard shortcut is already assigned to another command or tool in the set, an alert appears. ...
    5. Enter a name for the saved keyset.
    6. Click OK.
