I appreciate that Illustrator supports right-to-left, but I work mostly in English and I cannot find a way to have the text tool default to left-to-right. How can this be done. I don't want to have to reset paragraph and allignment every time I select the type tool

You know what? I just figured it out by selecting the proper Text tool in the tool bar
