Icon design irregular shapes, snap to picel

Hi, I'm designing some icons. Some shapes are irregular and have inner shapes within a filled icon. Although some points are snapped some can't. When it comes to curves etc. what's the best way to achieve sharpness. I guess you're constrained to the shapes in some parts.
