Illustator keeps asking for permissions for screen & audiorecording

Please read this. My big question = Is this normal, No? How to fix it?

So this has been going on for about some months now but it kept coming back.

Everytime I use brush or sometimes even another tool there comes a pop-up with: "Adobe Illustrator 2025 wants to record screen and audio" and even when I click 'decline' it still will record which im seeing right above my screen in the corner... i'm just so scared theres something wrong? Please help me.

I wrote an explanation in another thread on this forum, with examples of how tighter Apple macOS security requirements have caused permissions alerts to appear in many other Mac applications that just need to sample the screen as part of a normal feature:

If you follow the links in that post, you’ll see how other Mac software companies are highly annoyed by this because it makes users think someone is spying on them when that isn’t actually true.

The screenrecording permission is needed for some of the eyedropper functionality.

You can turn it off in the system preferences.

The popup from the system is badly worded. It just tells you that Illustrator has the permission. It. Is. Not. Actively. Recording. Your. Screen.

Yes Its just so weird cuz it does record when I look right in my menu (Its a blue dot and when you click on it, it says "Illustrator is recording" and its only during that app..

The blue dot is voice control:

Which is something different. I think we can agree that an app needs to listen when voice control is turned on, right? Maybe you should turn that off when you do not want it.
