Illustrator 2017 and others crashing

Our production machine has been crashing repatedly over the last week since the 2017 upgrade. 

We have removed 2017 via Creative Cloud and run the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe, and removed creative cloud.  Then did a re-install, but to no avail.  I have found that i still have installations of 2015.5 that survived, but there is aparently no way to uninstall them, as the windows add/remove will forward the uninstall to CC and then nothing.

Please advise how to get all this old software out so we can get a fresh install and see if this helps.
