Illustrator 2018 now skips artboards when using out of favor "Export As..."

There has been other issues reported about sizing which can be solved with a script (see other threads) but I have just encountered exporting of multiple artboards to PNG using "Export As..." where it skips some of the artboards -- it simply did not generate artboard no. 27 in my instance.

I get cynical at times but it does seem like Adobe deliberately destroy functions they want to phase out (in this case in favor of "Export for Screens"). If not then tell me why something that was working fine now is broken.

Unless we see the file it will be difficult to suggest you anything. We export based on artboard name and not numbers. is it possible you do not have the artboard 27 or does it have a name that is not legal on a file name on your OS?

We could not reproduce the issue

I think your comment about engineers deliberately destroying functions is unfair. We are both entitled to our opinions but let us work towards getting your skipping artboard issue solved.

Without seeing your file this will be impossible to solve.

It has nothing to do with my file. Regardless of content, if I create 30 artboards, Illustrator will not export artboard 27. It also skips 57. I haven't gone higher but I'd be surprised if it stops there. I don't know how to attach a file here so I uploaded one here, it's just a dummy though because the content doesn't matter.
