Illustrator 2021 (25.2.3) Will not snap to guides

Shocking bug in illustrator that returns again and agian! I don't know how something as ESSENTIAL and BASIC as snapping to a guide has slipped out of control again!

Since 2016 this error has cropped up again and again. If you can't get a function right, that is so integral to the operation of the product, you should just give up!

I mean really! The very nature of the program is to create PRECISE illustrations and y'all cant get this one thing right. Color me appallled but not surprised.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS? Do you see this behavior while working on a specific file? Do you have Smart Guides turned on(as asked by @Ton Frederiks)?
