Illustrator (2023 and 2024) pen pressure not registering

Hello! I am having an issue with the Touch Calligraphic brush in Illustrator. I have a Huion Kamvas 13 drawing tablet, and the tablet driver has registered changes in pen pressure before and after reinstallation. The issue arises when I open Illustrator. It reads the pen inputs without issue, but when I selected the Touch Calligraphic brush (or created my own brush and set every option to Pressure), it detected no variance in pressure and produced the same uniform line. I have tried several methods of fixing this: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Huion driver without issue, I have experimented with multiple versions of Illustrator (23 and 24), including resetting preferences and allowing Wacom, but none of these have had an effect. In addition, other Adobe software such as Animate have registered pen pressure without a problem. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
