Illustrator 2024 splash screen loads but no window appears on mac

I consistently (at least weekly) have this issue where I attempt to launch Premiere and I get a loading screen but no splash screen. It says I have Premiere open, but I can't open any files or import any media. The only thing that SOMETIMES fixes this is to uninstall and reinstall the application.  Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have suggestions? Could it have anything to do with the RAM available on my computer? Having a similar issue with Premiere as well!
