Illustrator 2025 Selection Tool Bug

Hello 
Since the latest update of Illustrator the Selection Tool is not working properly.
After selecting an item on the canvas the cursor becomes a crosshairs and drags the item around with any further mouse movement. The Double Click To Isolate function no longer works because of this and I can't seem to understand how this option can be disabled.

I'm on v30, and this is happening to me all of the time.  I'm not using Magnet or anything else like OP was.

Hello @AaronC31,

I'm sorry to hear you're having similar trouble with Illustrator. Could you confirm the version of the OS installed, if you're using a Pen/Tablet input device, and share a small screen recording of your workflow and the problem, so we can better assist you?

Additionally, try running Illustrator after rebooting your computer in Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.

    This was my issue. I quit Magnet and it works as expected again. Thank you.
