Illustrator (23.0) for Windows screen just blinks

Can't do any work in Illustrator. Try to open files and the Illustrator window screen just keeps blinking every second. Any fix for this?

    Hi Christopher,

    We are sorry to hear about this and hope that the issue is resolved by now. If not, I would request you to please share a few more details like:

    Does the screen blink only on Illustrator?

    Which Graphics card you are using and when it was updated last time?

    Please try turning off GPU performance(Edit (Windows)/ Illustrator(MAC) > Preferences clear (to disable) the GPU Performance check box and click OK) from Illustrator preferences and let us know if that helps?

    The screen blinks only in the new version of Illustrator. I believe the graphics card installed on my laptop is the Intel HD Graphics 520 on a Dell Latitude E7480.I have turned off the GPU Performance and this has not fixed the problem.
