Illustrator 24.0.3 & 24.1.0 both result in launch issues

Tried both updates on Macbook Pro w/ macOS Catalina, and both have the following issues:

1> On Launch Start Window is Blank with only New and Open Buttons available in the left panel. Deleted preferences and settings but no success there.

2> 24.1 only: Launch results in "Error Loading Plugins" SelectiveUnlock.alp Message in dialog (pic attached here)

So once again I had to revert to 24.0.2 and another lost hour of work getting done.

so sick of this update platform....I should just move over to Affinity this year.
