Illustrator 24.0.3 - The png importing / Place function still not working properly.
I restarted the machine, and it still doesn't work! I can only place images in png format by jpg placing method

From Photoshop… But I'v made a rooky mistake, that's why AI could not realize ong format.
So… Excuses again. Case closed.

I see no issue placing PNGs in 24.1. What exactly happens when you try?

 

What do you mean by 'jpg placing method'?
