Illustrator 26.1 unable to Save Document on macOS Monterey 12.3

Question

I have the same problem using Illustrator CC 26.1 on Imac Monterey 12.3. Illustrator on screen message says it is unable to save the document, I am also getting random things malfunctioning, the anchor points turn a transparent white, bring forward shortcuts do not work and Illustrator has becone an absolute nightmare to work with, Does anyone know if there is a solution to this. I tried deleting and reinstalling Illustrator and Creative Cloud, but nothing worked and I have lost hours of time.

Sorry to hear about this experience. Issue you reported was totally different from the one where you reported it., hence we have branched it to a new conversation.
Problems while trying to save a document in Illustrator is a known issue and our team is currently investigating it. As a workaround, please try the suggestions shared on this page.

For the problems related to Anchor Points and Shortcuts I would suggest to reset the preferences for Illustrator and share your observations with us.

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
