Illustrator 29.3.1 Recent upgrade has changed behavior in text placeholder

When updating yesterday from 29.3.0 to 29.3.1 Illustrator lost the handles in the text placeholder, e.g. the frame text has no scaling handles, nor the right side clickpoint for changing to pixeltext, but only corner points.

Anybody else have the same issue, and maybe a solution? Min was to reinstall 29.3.0 for the moment.

I had a routine earlier fro reporting beta issues but maybe that works only for installed beta releases...

Yesterday, after saving a copy of alla the Illustrator presetsi library; Prefs; Ill 29 prefs I made a new update of the app, which probably uppdated something also in the prefs folder, and after that 29.3.1 works fine.
