Illustrator 29.7.1 fails to export assets

Question

This is a complete showstopper for me. I can't export SVGs at all after the latest update (when it dares to open!) stating that is "Unable" to export files.
Also constantly crashes, most of the time won't open at all.

This is the first version that really has serious problems I've seen in a long time.
