Illustrator 30.1 - macOS 26.2 | Crash on Launch

Hello,
When I open Illustrator it gets stuck and it becomes unresponding, not opening until multiple tries. When I manage to open it, working with files is nearly impossible, with constant crashes when saving and/or opening. Attached is a crash report in case it's useful to help debug the problem.

Thank you!

Did you update all the drivers for external devices? Such as a Wacom?

Did you check your fonts recently?

Hello @Rita36252909f8l3,

I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter crashes while working. Would you mind trying the suggestions shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/49nIo9S) and checking if it helps? Also, kindly submit the crash report using your Adobe email address and share it here for quick tracking. Steps are shared here: (https://adobe.ly/4qMu4ie).

@Rita36252909f8l3 was it working before the update? If so, it might be corrupted preferences. The easiest set-up is going through the Ilsutartor Preferences Interface.

Go to Preferences
Mac: Command K
PC: Control K

Then click the Reset Preferences button at the bottom of the window. Click OK on the confirmation popup. Restart Illustrator for the changes to take effect.
