Illustrator 30.2.1 crash when launching - macOS

I don’t understand what’s going on with Creative Suite lately, but it has become a huge pain.

Today, I wasn’t able to open Illustrator because it says, “Adobe Illustrator 2026 quit unexpectedly.” When I click “Reopen,” everything disappears while it shows that it’s trying to launch the program — and then I’m back to the beginning.

I restarted my Mac and tried again, but the same thing happened.

Now I’m going to uninstall Illustrator and install the downgraded version 30.2.1 at least it is opening now.

How you manage to ruin things that used to work perfectly fine is something I will never understand. I sincerely hope you’re not relying on artificial intelligence for your development team about programs, because apparently, this isn’t working.

Hi, I had the exact same problem. Turns out it was my Wacom drivers causing the issues. Try uninstalling the drivers
