Illustrator acting super buggy

Recently all my Adobe apps have been super buggy, like waaaay more than I have ever noticed in years of using them. For example, I had a path that had a brush applied to it, when I copy and paste that path into another document the path is there but the brush is rendering like 2 inches away from where the actual path is. What is going on? Nothing is causing things to totally not work, but it is like everything is kind of broken or glitchy? Is it just me or anyone else having a lot of strange things happen in the software?
