Illustrator becoming unresponsive and crashing.

Question

Machine: MacBook Pro (16-inch, Nov 2023) [M3 Pro]

Total RAM:36.0 GB

OS: 15.5

AI ver: 29.6.1

Issue: Illustrator becoming unresponsive while editing file, and crash.

Troubleshooting:

Reset preferences
Disabled GPU performance and animation zoom, Real-time drawing. As per suggestions from adobe support page.
Tested file/files in latest version of Illustrator and most compatible version 2024 26.7.7
Used adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to perform a clean install
Used Mac app cleaner tool to perform clean install
Ensured all/any images were either removed or embedded and not linked
Ensured all fonts are either downloaded or outlined
Attempted to create new local file. Would work and eventually become unresponsive again

Would love to hear any other suggestions, or troubleshooting steps i can try. Or an explanation for the cause.
