Question

Illustrator Beta not showing up in Creative cloud

My computer has a snapdragon processor, meaning both Illustrator and InDesign isn’t fully developed for my computer. Instead I use the beta versions of both. But yesterday the illustrator beta disappeared from my creative cloud app, and I can’t find any trace of it. It also happened with inDesign back in December, so I guess here I am again.

Hi I am having the same issue.

. Firstly tried updating the Illustrator Beta app it failed with error warning unable to update.

. Then couldn’t uninstall deleted preferences then had to move application manually to the bin.

. Now I cannot find the Beta app in my creative cloud desktop.

I would appreciate some assistance. I am using iMac mini; Tahoe 26.5.2.

    Hello @emma_8424

The latest Illustrator Beta Build 30.7.14 is now available to download from the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Please install the latest Illustrator (beta) and let us know how it goes.

Hi Anubhav no one replied to my post.

Since I posted I download a new copy of the Beta app but tried to open it from the ICON & it failed to open. What do I do next?

    Thanks

    Hi @emma_8424,

We wanted to follow up on your issue. Were you able to install Illustrator Beta from the Creative Cloud Desktop app? If not, please try the steps below if you have a Mac Machine.

    • Click Finder icon in the dock
    • Click Go menu and then select Go to folder
    • Type in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/
    • If ServiceConfig.xml file is present please rename this file to old_ServiceConfig.xml.
    • Bring CC Desktop into focus and press keyboard shortcuts CMD+OPT+R
    • It will prompt for a relaunch, select continue and let CC Desktop launch again.
    • Check if Beta-apps show up now.

Let us know if that helps or if you need further assistance. We would be happy to help you.

    Thanks,

    Harshika

They’re asking about the ARM beta, not Mac.

    Hi @emma_8424,

Thanks for sharing the details, and I understand how frustrating this must be.

Could you please confirm the exact OS version installed on your machine along with your device available memory, so I can check this further? Also, please try signing out and signing back into the Creative Cloud Desktop app and then check if the "Beta apps" tab is visible there.

Additionally, could you please check the Creative Cloud web apps page below and confirm whether you can see the Beta tab and Illustrator Beta listed there?

Please let me know your observations after checking. I'll be happy to help further based on the results.

    Thanks,
    Abhishek
