Illustrator CC 2018 crashes immediately after launch on Win10!

Hello everyone,

I've read a lot of threads regarding my issue but I can't seem to find a solution.

I had been using Illustrator for a little while but everything was going smooth - one day I opened a .PDF file with Illustrator and I got a message about missing fonts, but whatever I did (cancel, or replace with another font) it would ask me if I wanted to save the edited file (as if I asked to close it). Since then whenever I open any file, be it .AI or .PDF or simply launch Illustrator, it opens and instantly closes. Sometimes, I get the not responding error message from Windows.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, deleting the font cache, launching Illustrator with the graphics card driver disabled/as an administrator...nothing seems to work. I need it quite urgently as I need it for school work. Also, Photoshop works just fine.
