Illustrator CC Lagging [Windows 10, 8Gb RAM, AMD Radeon Video Card, SSD HD]

Hi!

I`ve recently purchased a new notebook with the configurations above. It`s a really good pc, In fact, better than my previous one.

Windows 10, 8Gb RAM, AMD A8 with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics and a 240Gb SSD HD.

The problem is: Illustrator started to crash and lag. In my previous one it runs like a rocket.

The most lagging issue occurs when I try to zoom or move things.

I tried turning off GPU performance and it not worked.

I`m a designer and really, really need this to work.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Hi Gustavo,

I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with Illustrator crash. Does the app crashes randomly or have you noticed a specific workflow? Do you have any other Adobe app installed, is it working fine? Are you connected to a network? If yes, please disconnect and test once. Do share your findings.

i'm having the same issue. running Illustrator CC 2017 on Windows 10 with 16GB RAM i7 processor and geforce940mx

it is with a specific workflow. The file ive been editing is 194MB and it is almost impossible to edit anymore. Everytime I try to change to fill in a stroke or move something, it pauses with "not responding" at the top for at least a minute before resuming, and does this constantly.

I've tried it both with GPU performance enabled and disabled, and still have same results
