Illustrator CC multiply effect pixelated

Hi Guy!

I have been encountering this issue for a while and I can't figure why this happens.

When I add the multiply effect to a shape it turns into a pixelated/rough edged shape - like in the image attached.

I wonder if there's a solution for this or if it's a software bug.

Thank you!

If you go to View > Preview on CPU, does it go away?

Do you mean the Multiply blend mode? Is this when viewed in Illustrator?

Hi Doug,

Yes, sorry about the confusion. It shows like that in Illustrator with the Multiply Blending mode.
